Digital Flexographic Plates

A relatively newcomer to the arena of flexography is the digital flexographic plate. This technology first appeared in lithography a few years ago. Accu-Graphics, inc. series of digital flexo plates offers some distinct advantages over conventional photoploymer plates. The high-resolution imaging is a key benefit to the quality of the digital flexographic plates. These types of photopolymer plates allow the print press to maintain a very high degree of registration as well as low dot gain- at times making the print even comparable to it's counterparts in lithography.
